Nine hundred years ago a fox in a red-feather cap ran the tolls of Nottingham road. He rode the spread between the sheriff's counting house and the villagers' empty pockets, and he called it justice.
He never died. He got quieter. He watched paper turn to gold, gold turn to wire, wire turn to a green blinking line on a screen. When a ledger finally moved without a middleman — three seconds, pennies of fee, no bank in the room — he walked in and put the feather back in the cap.
Robinhood put a door on the XRP Ledger. The fox walked through it. He calls the toll $HOOD now.
